Low Season is a dynamic punk rock band based in St. Petersburg, Florida, formed in 2014. Known for their high-energy sound and lively stage performances, they stoke audiences with their unique blend of melodic punk rock. Their music combines upbeat, infectious melodies, catchy lyrics, and powerful guitar riffs, all underscored by solid drum beats and harmonious vocals, creating a driving sound that resonates with both new listeners and current fans. Low Season's distinctive style draws from a wide range of musical influences, making their music diverse and engaging.
The band is made up of four seasoned members: Andy Fields (vocals/guitar), Jeremy Runkle (guitar), Chris Splendore (drums), and Jon Rafalski (bass), who have all been part of the Florida music scene for 20+ years. Low Season has been composed of current/past members from noteworthy bands such as The Unwanted Guests, Crooked Edge, Slinky, Caught Fire, and The Boats. Past members include Eric Richardson (bass), Chad Mairn (drums), Brett DeCosimo (bass), and Todd McBride (vocals).
The band released their debut EP in 2016 and followed up with another in 2020, alongside a series of cover singles featured on various tribute compilations. Currently, the band is working on a new EP, set for release in late 2025 (stay tuned for more details in the coming months).
